Zimpala é um projeto criado pelo Dj e instrumentista francês Frederic Beneix (aka Fred BNX). Suas composições integram várias coletâneas de Nu-Jazz. "The Breeze Is Black" (2004) é o seu segundo álbum trazendo temas que navegam pelo Jazz, Funk e Ambient Music com algumas interessantes passagens experimentais.
